Change Up herbicide, a premium, selective herbicide from Nufarm, is a premix of 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (MCPA), fluroxypyr and dicamba.
“Because it contains MCPA, Change Up gives turf managers an effective weed management option in areas where a 2,4-D alternative is needed,” says Richard (Rick) Fletcher, Technical Services Manager for Nufarm Turf and Ornamentals. “It’s also a very flexible tankmix partner that is compatible with many liquid fertilizers and iron formulations.”
Other key benefits of Change Up include:
- Offers the power of three proven herbicides in one convenient pre-mixed formulation
- Reduced callbacks following a quick visual response and excellent weed control
- Contains the pyridine herbicide fluroxypyr for unparalleled clover control
- Controls more than 200 broadleaf weeds, including dandelion, plaintain, oxtails, chickweed, thistles and other hard-to-control species
- Labeled for application to bahia, bent (including golf course greens & tees), Bermuda, bluegrass, carpetgrass, centipedegrass, fescue, rye, St. Augustine (excluding Floratam) and zoysia turfs.
“Change Up provides a unique combination of benefits that make it convenient, easy-to-use and ideal for most turf weed management programs,” says Fletcher. “It’s premixed to deliver optimal weed control, saving turf managers’ time, hassle and labor costs. In addition, Change Up is labeled for use on a wide range of turf areas. Turf managers need to have more flexible tools for their weed management programs. That’s a key focus for Nufarm. Change Up is an ideal example of Nufarm’s commitment to bringing turf managers tools that effectively solve their day-to-day challenges.”
Change Up is labeled for use on ornamental turf lawns (residential, institutional and industrial), golf course turf (excluding greens and tees), parks, cemeteries and athletic fields, roadsides, rights of way and other similar, non-crop areas and on sod farms.
