How do I view or change my subscription to the magazine, e-newsletter or website?
Our Subscribe Page gives you choices from a drop-down menu, where you can sign up for the print magazine, or update your account information. Simply choose the correct option from the drop-down menu, fill out the form that appears, and click "Submit."

You have the option to sign up for our e-newsletter at the bottom of the subscription form.


How do I submit material (such as press releases, article pitches, or product releases) to the magazine?

Write for GCI
We love to publish interesting stories by superintendents, assistants, architects, builders and others with real-world experience. We particularly like “how we did it” case studies about projects, practices or innovative products/inventions, but we also like first-person accounts of management challenges, communications issues, labor management, etc. Click (here) to review our editorial plan for the year to see which topics we propose to cover and how your idea might fit. We regularly use outside submissions for our website and e-newsletter, so all ideas are welcome even if they don’t specifically appear on the editorial calendar.

Before you get excited and write the whole thing, we ask that you send our editors a brief e-mail summarizing your story idea. Make sure to include the purpose of the article, estimated length (1,000-2,000 words in most cases, sometimes longer for research/technical stories) and notes about any photos or illustrations you might have. We’ll take a look and let you know promptly whether we’re interested and how we’d like to proceed.
