Landscapes Unlimited (2)
Golf course developer and construction company Landscapes Unlimited completed installation of a new, state-of-the-art irrigation system throughout the 18-hole South Course at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Maryland, just north of Washington, D.C.
Collaborating with EC Design, Landscapes Unlimited’s installation of the wall-to-wall irrigation system is optimizing precise location watering, more efficient water management and, ultimately, even healthier turf and playing conditions.
The work is a key component of a major South Course enhancement project from tee to green overseen by director of golf courses and grounds operations Ryan Severidt and director of golf David Dorn.
“Irrigation installation may be invisible to Woodmont members, but contributes mightily to enjoyable experiences on the links,” project manager Dana Grode said. “It’s also rewarding when maintenance staff can rely on the labor, water usage and financial benefits of a new system that’s properly designed and installed.”
Celebrated neighborhood golf courses, country clubs and resorts frequently turn to Landscapes Unlimited for irrigation, construction and holistic project management expertise.
Woodmont Country Club’s North and South golf courses are highly rated with the former hosting more than 40 USGA Final U.S. Open Championship qualifiers and the 2022 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship.
