Women’s golf group rebrands

EWGA introduces new logo and new membership levels.

The new year brings a colorful new look to the EWGA (Executive Women’s Golf Association) with a fresh logo, an initials-only name and numerous new ways to connect women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and fun.

With vibrant green letters and a stylized woman golfer and club in warm red and orange, the new EWGA logo gives a fresh face to this 18-year-old association. Designed for a powerful yet feminine look with a modern edge, the logo has a tag line of “Connect, Learn, Play, Belong,” reinforcing the organization’s updated vision of enriching the lives of women through golf.

The transition to the use of the acronym EWGA is designed to take the intimidation factor out of the word, says Pam Swensen, CEO of the association. “We serve a diverse, international membership and welcome every woman interested in the game of golf.”

The re-branding of EWGA coincides with the rollout of a five-year plan developed through the association’s strategic planning process. Three new categories of membership are being introduced – student, virtual and corporate – with the goal to build the organization to more than 30,000 members in the next five years.
