Orlando, Fla. – Wiedenmann North America conducted its annual dealer meeting at the Peabody Hotel during the Golf Industry Show in February. Attending were all Wiedenmann dealers from North America and company personnel from the United States and Germany.
The meeting was highlighted with the annual presentations for the distributor of the year and the top salesman from North America. Presenting the awards were Will Wolverton, general manager for Wiedenmann NA and Juergen Wiedenmann, president of Wiedenmann GmbH.
“We have an outstanding dealer network throughout North America and to get together during the GIS with this team and our German counterparts to present these outstanding achievements is very rewarding,” says Wolverton.
Distributor of the year award was presented to Commercial Turf & Tractor of Chillicothe, Mo.
“To be recognized by Wiedenmann and to receive this award in front of my peers has been a great pleasure,’’ says Bryan Wood, owner of Commercial Turf.
Commercial Turf has sales responsibility for the area of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa and Illinois.
Salesman of the Year honors went to Roy Spielman of Spielman Enterprises. His sales territory includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia.
Wiedenmann is a German manufacturer of deep tine aerification equipment, blowers, sweepers, verticut/collection systems, and a modular system that can core aerify, spike, slit, overseed and de-thatch with one machine.
