Washington golf course operator acquires Trilogy Golf Club

Oki Golf bought the course in Redmond. It will be renamed The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge.

Oki Golf, a collection of premier golf clubs in Washington State, purchased Trilogy Golf Club at Redmond Ridge, located in Redmond, Wash. Under Oki Golf’s ownership, the property will be renamed The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge.

Since purchasing its first course in 1994, Oki Golf has delivered on its commitment to create an incomparable golf experience for guests. With a total of 11 courses now under its umbrella, the purchase surges Oki Golf well ahead as the largest golf stakeholder in the Northwest. The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge joins Oki Golf’s portfolio of properties in Washington State that includes The Golf Club at Newcastle (Newcastle), Harbour Pointe Golf Club (Mukilteo), Washington National Golf Club (Auburn), Trophy Lake Golf & Casting (Port Orchard), The Golf Club at Echo Falls (Snohomish), The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie (Lacey), Indian Summer Golf & Country Club (Olympia), and The Plateau Club (Sammamish). Golfers in the greater Seattle and Bellevue area can now enjoy nine premier public courses located within a 60-mile radius.

Purchased from Shea Homes, Oki found the property a perfect fit into the Oki Golf portfolio with its high caliber course, well maintained conditions, detailed guest services, and well regarded image. General Manager Clint Whitney will remain on staff at The Golf Club at Redmond Ridge. The course has garnered national accolades including a Highest Ranking in the State of Washington - 4.5 out 5 stars from Golf Digest, and it was named among the "Best Playing Conditions in the Pacific Northwest" by Links Magazine. Oki Golf was impressed by the beautifully maintained course and plans no new improvements on this challenging par-70 Gary Panks course design. Although there are homes surrounding the course, the community is not part of the acquisition.

“Acquiring the Golf Club at Redmond Ridge broadens the Oki Golf brand as a Northwest industry leader for golf,” said Nancy Cho, President and CEO of Oki Golf. “This addition fits perfectly info our expanding portfolio and further complements the ‘Oki Golf Experience’ that we are able to offer golfers, comprising the ‘best of class’ facilities, inspired customer service and exceptional value.”

"We have an esteemed community of golfers who deserve the best experience possible, and I’m delighted the Redmond property is joining the Oki Golf family,” said Clint Whitney, General Manager. “We thoughtfully and carefully built up a quality, customer-oriented golf club, and I know with Oki Golf’s breadth and depth running revered properties, we will continue to deliver excellence to our golfers.”
