ValleyCrest Golf Course Maintenance has entered into an agreement to provide maintenance services at Pawleys Plantation Golf and Country Club in Pawleys Island, S.C.

Calabasas, Calif. – ValleyCrest Golf Course Maintenance has entered into a long-term agreement to provide comprehensive golf course and landscape maintenance services at Pawleys Plantation Golf and Country Club. Although the company has a longstanding and strong presence in the Southeast region of the country, Pawleys Plantation is its initial entry into the South Carolina Grand Strand golf community.

Located on the coast in Pawleys Island, S.C., Pawleys Plantation is a 600-acre residential community and resort that includes full service golf and country club facilities. The golf course, built in 1988, is an 18-hole championship Jack Nicklaus Signature design.

Maintenance operations for the course will be under the on-site leadership of ValleyCrest Golf’s superintendent Chris Little, regional superintendent, Deron Rake, CGCS, and ValleyCrest’s consulting superintendent, Bland Cooper, CGCS.

“ValleyCrest has a solid track record in golf course and landscape maintenance and we are happy to have them as part of the Pawleys Plantation family,” says Laura Rippy, general manager. “We are looking to ValleyCrest to keep our Jack Nicklaus course in top condition, so that it can continue to draw rave reviews.”

“ValleyCrest is very pleased to become Pawleys Plantation’s maintenance partner for their golf course and landscaped grounds,” says Greg Pieschala, president of ValleyCrest Golf Course Maintenance. “We are especially excited to be involved with Les Morris, Laura Rippy and their entire team, and to have our first relationship on the Grand Strand be on a property of such high caliber. We are confident that we will help enhance course conditions and the landscape areas of this already exceptional community and club.”
