Q: There is a construction project going on at the golf course on Limeport Pike. What is going on there?

A: More golf holes would be nice for this duffer, Amanda, but that's no golf course project.
Earlier this month, a contractor began installing a public sewer line for Upper Saucon Township at a cost of $413,950.
The 2,000-foot line will extend west and south of Wedgewood Golf Course along Limeport Pike to Chestnut Hill Road to serve the 60 to 70 homes in two existing developments near Sunset Drive.
There are many on-lot sewage systems in the two developments that are failing, Township Manager Tom Beil said. The township's so-called Act 537 plan identified areas that needed public sewer service, and the two developments were named a top priority, he said.
The new line will connect with existing lines that feed into the township sewer plant near Route 378.
Beil said the project will last at least two months.
