University Club at LSU adds GPS system

The University Club, Baton Rouge, La., added the ProLink Solutions GPS system and plans to participate in ProLink’s exclusive national advertising opportunity.

“Every type of player benefits from the accurate yardages and hole graphics the ProLink system provides,” says Jared LeBouef, general manager at the University Club. “ProLink GPS has many advantages for course management as well, from improving pace of play to driving additional food-and-beverage revenue. The income generated by the ad program is certainly a welcomed addition.”

With ProLink’s 10.4-inch high-resolution color screen the University Club’s cart-mounted units display easy-to-read graphics including distances to the pin and hazards, pro tips, pace-of-play timer and radial arc for cart-path-only holes. Golfers at the University Club will also be able to order food and beverage items on the ProLink screen.
