FCI Profile golf nozzles have qualified for Australia’s Smart Approved WaterMark, a labeling designation for water-efficient products.
Manufactured by Underhill International, FCI Profile nozzles feature stainless steel and brass construction and are used to retrofit popular golf rotors. The nozzles offer improved irrigation distribution uniformity and more efficient water use.
The Australian Smart Approved WaterMark is a nonprofit program that determines water efficiency. Products are evaluated by an independent panel of industry technical experts.
In previous independent testing in the U.S., FCI Profile nozzles were shown to save golf courses a minimum of six percent of water use per year. (Center for Irrigation Technology, California State University, Fresno).
FCI Profile nozzles have solid brass sprinkler nozzles and stainless steel outlets. They ensure more consistent coverage than factory-installed plastic nozzles, which can deteriorate over time.
“Increasingly, people are looking for help when it comes to choosing water-saving products and the Mark makes it easy to identify those that live up to their claims,” says Julian Gray, CEO of Smart Approved WaterMark.
FCI Profile replacement sets are available for Rain Bird and Toro golf rotors and include nozzles for full-circle, mid-range and close-in coverage.
