Tycrop Manufacturing announced new Distributors for Australia and New Zealand, Toro Australia and Parkland Products, respectively. The change in Distributors is a reflection of tycrop's aggressive international growth strategy.
In 1998, tycrop products were introduced by Turf Link in Australia and Turf Equipment in New Zealand, in 2000.
"Their dedication to the tycrop name by both Distributors has been evident in the steady growth in their respective markets," says Brad Oliver, tycrop's vice president of sales and marketing. "The established need for frequent top dressing and material handling around the world has created an increased demand for our products, in particular our broadcast top dresser ProPass PP-180 and material handler MH-400. As a result of the successful introduction to the Australian and New Zealand markets and the popularity of the tycrop products, we determined that a shift in market strategy was necessary to meet the needs of this growing market."
With multiple locations, the new distributors hope to provide tycrop with greater market coverage and provide additional sales support through extensive product demonstration and service & parts.
tycrop has worked closely with turf grass professionals since 1985 to design functional material handling and top dressing equipment. tycrop products are manufactured and tested for optimum performance, simplicity-of-use and ongoing reliability - all features that have become the hallmark of the tycrop name.
