“We are no longer the Tuscawilla of old,” says general manager Mike Gardner. “Our new logo symbolizes all the great things happening at the club and reinforces our link to the community. From our new golf course and first-class tennis facility to the state-of-the-art fitness center and jam-packed activities schedule, Tuscawilla Country Club is experiencing an exciting renaissance.”
More than 640 members now belong Tuscawilla Country Club. Most recently, the club unveiled a revitalized golf course that boasts all new greens and eight new tee boxes that lengthened the course by 200 yards. In 2004, Tuscawilla opened a modern 1,200 square ft. fitness center for members, and in recent years, the tennis facility, grille room and clubhouse locker rooms have been refurbished.
In addition to these structural upgrades, Tuscawilla boasts many family-oriented activities including junior golf programs under the guidance of Carolyn McKenzie Andrews, named one the top 50 kids teachers in the United States; beginner through advanced tennis programs with Master Tennis Professional Glen Howe; and a competitive swim team that recently claimed its eighth club championship.
The new logo for Tuscawilla Country Club will be fully integrated into the club within three months. Signs, scorecards, uniforms, merchandise, letterhead, brochures, business cards, menus and flags will all be updated.
