Turfgrass scientist to join Syngenta

Andree-Anne Couillard will become Syngenta's global technical manager for turf.

Basel, Switzerland – Andree-Anne Couillard has become Syngenta’s new global technical manager for professional products turf.

Couillard, who will work from Syngenta headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, comes to Syngenta from the Scotts Company. During her seven years at Scotts, Couillard worked in a number of corporate and field positions in several disciplines, including technical services, research and development, sales and market development.

Most recently, Couillard served as the firm’s director of sales and technical services for specialty agriculture. In this role, she was responsible for developing new business opportunities and improving existing operations and processes.

Couillard holds a Ph.D. in agronomy/turfgrass from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in agronomy/turfgrass from Laval University in Quebec. She also conducted post-doctorate research in turfgrass weed control at the University of Guam.
