Turf Max has hired Frank Heery as national agronomic sales representative.
Heery, who will be responsible for building the sales team, has more than 20 years of experience in the field of agronomy and golf course maintenance. He most recently worked as the superintendent at Overbrook Golf Club in Villanova, Pa. He also has served as director of agronomy at The Club at Mediterra in Naples, Fla., and superintendent at Westmoreland (Ill.) Country and Denver (Colo.) Country Club.
Heery graduated from Delaware Valley University with a bachelor of science in agronomy and environmental science. He mentored under Paul R. Latshaw at Congressional Country Club and is well-versed in various agronomic needs of multiple regions.
