Turf Connections, which produces quality turfgrass sod in the Carolinas, named Jacob DuBose as its new sales manager, overseeing sales for the company’s four farm locations in Cheraw, South Carolina; Springfield, South Carolina; and metro Charlotte.
DuBose is a scratch golfer who played competitively through high school and on the golf team at Newberry College in South Carolina. He has worked eight years in the turf industry, having held positions in both golf course maintenance at Charwood Golf Club in West Columbia, South Carolina, and in landscape installation.
“Jacob understands the needs of turfgrass managers, landscapers and golf course superintendents and speaks our customers’ language,” Turf Connections co-owner Martin Williams said. “He is an excellent communicator, and we believe he’ll be a tremendous asset to Turf Connections.”
In his free time, DuBose enjoys playing golf, going to the gym, and spending time with his golden retriever. He grew up in West Columbia and is based in Prosperity, South Carolina.
