Tunica National hosts women's SEC Championship

The Mississippi Development Authority announced that Tunica National Golf & Tennis Club will host the annual women's SEC Championship April 15 through 17.

Jackson, Miss. – The Mississippi Development Authority announced that Tunica National Golf & Tennis Club will host the top women collegiate golfers in the Southeast Conference for the annual SEC Championship April 15 through 17. Participating colleges and universities are Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

“Mississippi is thrilled to host this event and one of the best collegiate conferences in the nation,” says Leland Speed, Mississippi Development Authority executive director. “Tunica National is a beautiful new golf course in a great location and one of the most popular vacation destinations in the United States. We think visitors to Tunica for this event will be greatly impressed by all the area and state offer and we can’t wait to entertain them.”

The public is invited to the women’s SEC Championship, and no tickets or reservations are required.
