David Schutzenhofer was hired as general manager of Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster, N.J.
Schutzenhofer recently completed his sixth year as general manager at Navesink Country Club in Middletown, N.J. Prior to this position, he was general manager at the Orienta Beach Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y., and at the Forest Hill Field Club in Bloomfield, N.J. He also served as assistant manager at the Scarsdale Golf Club in Hartsdale, N.Y.
Schutzenhofer successfully managed numerous private clubs in the New York Metropolitan area. He studied culinary arts and earned a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Johnson and Wales University, and then completed his education by earning his Masters degree from New York University’s Department of Hospitality, Tourism and Travel.
He is an active member of the New Jersey Club Managers Association, having held various leadership positions and served on its board of directors since 2001, and recently was inducted as board president. He also serves as secretary for the New Jersey Club Foundation and holds other memberships, including the Club Managers Association of America.
Schutzenhofer lives in Atlantic Highlands, N.J. with his wife and three children.
