The golf course in Pine Hill has been purchased by Donald J. Trump, who is immediately renaming it the Trump National Golf Club-Philadelphia and turning it into a high-end ultra-luxury private club, a Trump spokesman said this morning.
The price was not disclose, but the club will intend to draw on Trump's name and cater to the same clientele, said Dan Scavino, executive vice president and general manager of the Trump Organization's Trump Golf division.
He said that Pine Hill would be getting millions of dollars in improvements.
"It's going to be an unbelievable golf club," Scavino said.
Pine Hill, an 18-hole, par-70 course has referred to itself as a semi-private course.
It boasts as being on the highest point in South Jersey, offering views of the Philadelphia skyline.
