Total Turf Golf Services hires Appel

Total Turf Golf Services, Inc., a Pennsylvania-based certified golf course builder, is adding Justin Appel as its newest golf operations manager. Appel will be based out Aiken, South Carolina, and will oversee and manage new golf course construction, restoration and renovation projects throughout the South.

Appel brings more than 15 years of golf course construction experience to the company. He previously worked as a site superintendent and a regional manager, working on some of the more prominent golf courses for a range of notable designers and architects.

“Justin will be a huge asset as TTGS continues to expand its footprint in the Carolinas and Georgia markets, and will help support our considerable operations in Florida,” vice president Greg Hufner said. “He will look to build upon his existing relationships as we look to expand our operations into other emerging markets in the South, further expanding our footprint. … The addition will further allow us to better service our clients’ expectations and needs.”
