Autonomous introductions

Three takeaways from Toro’s 2025 Turf Technology Showcase presentation.

Toro senior global marketing manager Noah Wahl focused on how the Turf Pro and Range Pro are changing golf course maintenance during the 2025 Turf Technology Showcase. Here are three takeaways from the presentation:

1. Get a head start on your day. Because the autonomous mower and the golf ball-picking robot can be programmed to begin working early in the morning, maintenance teams can focus on other tasks like preparing greens. When it’s time for the machines to recharge, they return to their charging stations on their own.

2. Cutting-edge technology. The Turf Pro 500 offers five cutting heads and can mow up 18½ acres. The Turf Pro 300 offers three cutting heads and can mow up to 11 acres. Both devices are powered by dual electric monitors and possess multiple floating cutting heads with anti-fraction desks and retractable blades.

3. Increased customer focus. Superintendents can spend more time servicing the nuanced needs of golfers while the autonomous devices silently move around the course completing tasks.
