At the recent Golf Industry Show in San Diego, The Toro Company held its worldwide distributor meeting and recognized the top performing sales performers. Grant Rundblade, SCPS of Reinders was named the “2015 Rookie of the Year” for commercial equipment sales and Aaron Goninen was named the “2015 Salesperson of the Year” for golf irrigation sales.
The prestigious Rookie of the Year award is given to a sales representative who has sold Toro equipment for less than 24 months. It recognizes outstanding accomplishments for understanding the product mix and providing customer solutions in a short period of time.
“Grant does more than sell into the industry, he is part of the industry,” said Jim Heinze, CSE, director of commercial sales, North America for Toro’s commercial business. “As a board member of the Northwestern Illinois GCSA, he adds value to his customers beyond what Toro can offer.”
Goninen received the Blue Blazer award for his efforts in golf irrigation sales. This honor is given to an individual who has provided sales and support excellence that brings value to their customers. A recipient is active in industry organizations and a leader in their market.
“Aaron achieved significant success in his sales results, has shown an exceptional understanding of the Toro line, and has displayed exemplary customer service evidenced by his many satisfied customers,” said Tom Rasmussen, Toro Golf Irrigation sales manager.
