The Toro Co. has extended its sponsorship support of the National Golf Course Owners Association and will continue as the association’s Preferred Supplier of Irrigation and Turf Equipment through at least 2012.
Toro, a leading worldwide provider of products and services that support golf course maintenance and operations, has been a Preferred Supplier of the NGCOA for the past five years and a longtime member and supporter of the association that represents golf course owners and operators in the U.S. and throughout the world.
Calling Toro “one of our industry’s most respected brands,” Mike Hughes, c.e.o. of the NGCOA, said the sponsorship extension “demonstrates Toro’s commitment to golf course owners and a deep understanding of their needs.”
John McPhee, director of golf marketing and services at Toro, said, “Toro is proud to extend our relationship with the NGCOA. We will continue to create value for our customers and their members. Through this partnership, we will address key issues for the golf course owners and find solutions to help make their businesses more successful.”
The two organizations will develop an integrated marketing program, including print and online media, events and promotions, to communicate management practices that promote more stable and profitable business for members, according to Hughes.
NGCOA members will continue to benefit from Toro’s commitment to environmental stewardship, as well as through incentives tied to qualifying purchases of the company’s products and services. “These are benefits Toro is uniquely qualified to bring to the association and our members,” Hughes said.
