The Toro Co. recently renewed its agreement with the National Sports Center, the largest soccer complex in the world located in Blaine, Minn., about 20 miles north of Minneapolis.
“This partnership will enable Toro to share agronomic practices applied at some of the most demanding natural turf fields in the country with other cities and sports complexes,” said Paula Sliefert, senior marketing manager for Toro’s sports fields and grounds business. “We believe this will be an excellent opportunity for dissemination of information that can only help general playability and safety of sports fields around the country.”
“We are thrilled to partner with Toro, a marketplace industry leader,” said John Connelly, development director at the National Sports Center. “We schedule a wide variety of sports for the nearly 60 fields, including soccer, rugby, lacrosse, football, cricket and ultimate disc.”
The National Sports Center also has an official PGA Tour-designed 18-hole golf course, intended to help people of all ages experience the game of golf.
