Billy Casper Golf ("BCG") and The Village Golf Club - formerly known as Panorama Village - announced the Houston-area course is offering a free round of golf to anyone who visits www.thevillagegc.com/golf4free and brings in a copy of the online coupon.
Golfers must rent a cart when using their free round that includes a gratis bucket of range balls for warm-up. Limited to one per player, the free rounds are valid any time except on weekends and holidays before 11 a.m. The offer expires on Dec. 31, 2006.
In addition to the complimentary round and warm-up bucket, golfers will receive The Village's "Greens Card" at no charge. A rewards program, Greens Card holders save an average of 20 percent every time they play the course and are eligible for other savings and special offers throughout the year. Greens Cards will be presented to players when they check in for their complimentary round of golf.
Recently receiving $1 million in renovations, The Village has been racking up accolades from Houston area golfers. Texas Golfer Magazine praised the renovation work as the area's "best re-design" and AVID Golfer Houston picked The Village's first hole as "the best opening hole" in Houston. In addition to the on-course enhancements, The Village's clubhouse also benefited from a recent remodeling.
"The Village is in great shape and we are excited to share all the wonderful enhancements to the course and clubhouse with golfers in the area," says general manager Aaron Czajka. "We know that one trip out to our course and golfers will be hooked on playing The Village."
A 27-hole facility with three distinctly different nine-hole layouts, The Village Golf Club is available for play in three 18-hole combinations. BCG was selected to oversee course operations in March 2005.
To get the complimentary greens fee, a player must call The Village pro shop at 936-856-5531 to set up a tee time. When checking-in prior to their round, players must present a printout or copy of the coupon available at www.thevillagegc/golf4free
