The Prestwick Group announces new headquarters at Pabst Farms

Construction of the facility, located in Oconomowoc, Wis., is slated to start June 1.

The Prestwick Group announced its plans for a new corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility to be located at Pabst Farms. An agreement has been reached with Pabst Farms for construction of the facility in the Commerce Centre at Pabst Farms, located near the intersection of Interstate 94 and Highway 67 in Oconomowoc, Wis. Stephen Perry Smith Architects, Inc. of Menomonee Falls, Wis. designed the new facility with additional consultation from The McMahon Group of St. Louis, Mo. The building features design elements capturing the style of a traditional,Old World golf clubhouse.

The new Prestwick complex will total 47,000 square feet, including a 38,000-square-foot manufacturing plant. Construction is scheduled to begin June 1, 2006, pending finalization of design approvals.

The Prestwick Group President Matt Morse said the new building will be a true asset for the company’s employees and the local community alike.

“The new facility we’ve designed complements the architectural landscape and natural beauty of Pabst Farms," Morse says. "Our new Prestwick headquarters promises to be aesthetically pleasing for both our employees and the local community. We are doubly proud to join the Oconomowoc community and become a vital member of this vibrant, growing city.”

Bronson J. Haase, president Pabst Farms Equity Ventures LLC, said The Prestwick Group will be a welcome addition to the Commerce Centre at Pabst Farms.

“The momentum of commercial development at Pabst Farms continues to build as more businesses recognize the location advantage along I-94 combined with the added benefits a master-planned community provides," Haase says. "Being able to live, work, play and shop in one self-contained community is a compelling advantage to businesses looking for a rare location opportunity.”

The Prestwick Group’s planned facility on 5.8 acres will add to the mix of current facilities in the Commerce Centre at Pabst Farms, including the state-of-the-art, million-plus-square-foot Roundy Distribution Center, the Ace Precision headquarters complex and the recently opened Harley-Davidson dealership. The 200 acre business park is ideally suited for office space, light manufacturing, warehouse and distribution given easy access to and from I-94.

The Commerce Centre at Pabst Farms is one of several business parks planned. Village Square at Pabst Farms, the mixed-use retail and professional office area, begins development this year anchored by a new full-service M&I Banking facility.

“We believe that another key benefit to our ‘master’ location is the advanced communications community we are building at Pabst Farms,” Haase says. “Businesses like the Prestwick Group will be able to access the latest communications technology at the highest availability/redundancy and at the greatest speeds possible.”
