West Chester, Pa. – The Preferred Club Program received the Award of Excellence for “Best Insurance Provider to the Club Industry” from The Boardroom. It is the fourth consecutive year the award went to the Preferred Club Program.
Awards are presented to companies that provide noteworthy services to the club industry. The winners are selected by an independent panel of industry experts representing diverse facets of course and club operations, all recognized for their overall excellence, achievements, innovation, vision for future growth and impact on club operations.
“Each winner should be proud of what they’ve accomplished,” says John Fornaro, publisher of The BoardRoom magazine. “This is a difficult industry to penetrate, and these companies and individuals have managed to have quite an impact.”
The Preferred Club Program insures more than 1,150 clubs, including more than 25 of the top 100 clubs in the United States. It is part of Venture Insurance Programs, a program administrator that designs, underwrites and distributes industry-specific insurance packages.
“The Preferred Club Program continually seeks solutions that improve and expand the quality of coverage for the golf and club industry,” says Philip J. Harvey, managing director of the Preferred Club Program and president of Venture Insurance Programs. “We’re honored to be recognized by the APCD and the clubs we insure.”
Harvey accepted the award at the APCD’s Third Annual Marketing to the Golf Industry Workshop June 12 at the Boca Country Club in Boca Raton, Fla.
