The City of Brigantine Beach is proud to announce the appointment of ski industry mogul and consultant, Carl Swanback as g.m./c.o.o. of The Links at Brigantine Beach. Swanback recently completed his Post Graduate Degree in Golf/Country Club Operations Management through The Golf Management Institute Of Canada. He is dedicated to future development as evidenced by his membership in the GCSAA and Club Managers Associations of America (CMAA & NECMA).
“Mr. Swanback has an extensive hospitality consulting background that transcends industry lines," said John Tours, LCG public relations representative. "In addition to a sound business acumen, Mr. Swanback has world cup event marketing and logistics experience that has helped us redefine event offerings. While originally skeptical about his limited golf industry experience, it doesn’t take long for one to discover he may actually know more about the direction of the golf industry than most.
Tours went on to note that while they are sad to see Carl leave, they understand and support the decision and will continue to use him for a sounding board.
Carl Swanback is a Level III Certified Instructor with more than 20 years of international teaching experience, a former director of training and has twice been nominated to a leading industry management magazine’s list of future industry leaders. Most recently, Mr. Swanback worked for N.Y.-based T&T Business Group, a commercial financing and property management company as well as Connecticut based Links Consulting Group and is expected to be an educational presenter at the 2009 Golf Industry Show in New Orleans.
