Black Rock Development is preparing to unveil the expansion of The Club at Black Rock. The expansion will add 1,100 acres of property including a Tom Weiskopf-designed course, a second clubhouse, Equestrian Center and Kootenai Camp – a clubhouse designed for kids and teens – to the 650 acres of already-existing property highlighted by the award-winning Jim Engh-designed course, 31,000 square-foot clubhouse and 129 slip marina and beach club.
The Club at Black Rock, situated above Rockford Bay on Lake Coeur d’Alene, will offer custom home sites, custom homes, cabins and cottages with one of the most comprehensive memberships in the country. The new Tom Weiskopf course, opening in Spring 2009, will have a traditional feel with big trees, wide fairways and soft contours with different bunkering and green contouring styles. One of the holes will also feature two green complexes similar to Pine Valley.
