MAUMEE, OHIO- The Turf & Specialty Group of The Andersons, Inc. (Nasdaq:ANDE) announced today that its Black Gypsum DG product is now OMRI Listed for organic use in the United States. Previously, the product Humic DG, was also approved for OMRI Listing for organic use.
Black Gypsum DG and Humic DG are soil applied amendment solutions designed to enhance soil microbial activity and increase the uptake of applied nutrients. Humic DG and Black Gypsum DG can be applied through variable rate technology (VRT) equipment, or direct applied in the in-furrow, bedding, broadcast or strip tillage methods. Both products can also be blended in all fertilizers materials, including urea.
Black Gypsum DG is a homogeneous Dispersing Granule (DG) containing a combination of gypsum, humate, and humic acid precursor. It delivers calcium, sulfur, and humate directly to the soil utilizing The Andersons patented Dispersing Granule Technology.
Humic DG is a combination of pure, dry humate and humic acid precursor that provides all the proven benefits of fulvic, humic, and humin acids in an easy to use dispersing granule.
