E-Z-GO sponsoring pair of PGA Tour players

E-Z-GO has announced that it will sponsor professional golfers Vaughn Taylor and Kevin Kisner during their 2016 campaigns. Both golfers will wear the E-Z-GO logo during competition and act as ambassadors for the brand on and off the course.

Taylor was raised in E-Z-GO’s hometown of Augusta, Ga., and played his collegiate golf at Augusta State University, now known as Augusta University. Taylor’s connection to E-Z-GO goes back much further, however, as his mother worked for the company for almost two decades. Taylor also partners with E-Z-GO to bring some of the country’s top junior golfers to Augusta each summer through the E-Z-GO Vaughn Taylor Championship, an American Junior Golf Association event at Jones Creek Golf Club. In February, Taylor won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Kisner grew up in Aiken, S.C., and played collegiate golf for the University of Georgia, helping the Bulldogs win the 2005 NCAA Division I title. Kisner, currently ranked fourth in the FedEx Cup standings, joined the ranks of PGA Tour winners with his title at the RSM Classic in November. Kisner is an active supporter of The First Tee, an international program designed to teach kids life lessons through the game of golf.

"E-Z-GO is thrilled to continue its support of professional golf through Kevin and Vaughn," said Mike Parkhurst, Vice President, Golf for Textron Specialized Vehicles, which designs and manufacturesE-Z-GO vehicles. "In addition to their exceptional skills as golfers, both are also excellent ambassadors for the game of golf and the E-Z-GO brand."

Taylor and Kisner are playing the Masters, which begins April 7 at Augusta National Golf Club.
