Target Specialty Products has announced that David H. Robinson, CGCS, will join the company as lead agronomist and golf national accounts manager, effective January 27, 2025.
With 23 years of experience, Robinson brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company, having most recently served as senior director of golf grounds at Marriott Golf. Robinson holds an associate’s degree in golf course operations, a bachelor’s degree in turf science from Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Golf Course Superintendent and Certified Golf Irrigation Auditor.
“David’s vast experience in golf course management and agronomy will be essential in expanding our offerings and supporting our golf clients,” said Sean O’Brien, CGCS, South Region turf and ornamental sales manager.
In addition to his career at Marriott Golf, Robinson is a prominent figure within the turf and ornamental community. He serves as president of the Central Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association and treasurer of the Florida Turfgrass Association. Robinson is also a board member of Audubon International, further demonstrating his commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship in the golf industry.
Outside of his professional achievements, Robinson enjoys a variety of personal interests, including flying, golfing, traveling, and participating in ultramarathons. He has been happily married for 30 years and is the proud father of two daughters.
