Jupiter, Fla.-based Synthetic Turf International (STI), a global synthetic turf supplier and installer of premium synthetic putting greens and related synthetic surfaces, has named William Hatfield Vice President of Operations.

As STI’s Vice President of Operations Hatfield will oversee the design, installation and construction of all residential, commercial and municipal projects. These projects encompass putting greens, tee lines, multi-purpose fields, athletic fields, playgrounds and lawns.
“We are excited to announce Bill’s promotion to Vice President of Operations,” says STI president William Campbell. “This position demands a special combination of administrative, technical and interpersonal skills. Bill has demonstrated he has the experience to not only effectively undertake this position but to thrive in this new role.”
Hatfield joined STI in 2004 as a project manager. He has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Dowling College and a MSM/MBA from Abertus Magnus College. Hatfield has extensive experience as a project and logistics manager in the field of aeronautical engineering. He most recently worked as the Senior Support Equipment Engineer for Pratt & Whitney where he progressed through various positions of increased management responsibility for more than two decades.
