Mark Merrick, CGCS, has joined Syngenta ProfessionalProducts as a field sales representative for the turf and ornamental team. Merrick will serve customers in Maryland.
Merrick comes to Syngenta from Growing Solutions Inc. in Whitemarsh, Md., where he served more than 200 customers in the mid-Atlantic region. He also has nearly 20 years of experience as a golf course superintendent, including 19 years at The Elkridge Club, a private facility in Baltimore that attracted more than 25,000 rounds annually during his tenure.
Merrick is a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, the Mid-Atlantic Golf Course Superintendents Association, and the Maryland Turfgrass Council. Healso is founder and president of the Baltimore Turfgrass Group.
“I have extensive knowledge of and years of experience with Syngenta products in the turf market,” Merrick says. “I look forward to serving the many Syngenta customers in my region, and helping them utilize Syngenta products and services to create superior conditions at their facilities.”
