Syngenta added Ben Anderson as Digital Platforms sales specialist for the southeastern United States.
A Certified Golf Course Superintendent, Anderson has more than 15 years of experience in the turf industry, most recently serving as capital asset manager at Club Benchmarking, where he developed data-driven capital asset plans for private country clubs across North America. His previous roles include South Course superintendent at Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta, where he implemented innovative moisture management solutions.
“I am thrilled to be joining such a great team and company who share my passion for digital capabilities in the turf and landscape industry,” Anderson said. “I have always had a very analytical and data-driven mind, and being able to bring my knowledge to turf and ornamental managers in my territory is something I am very excited about. Residing in Atlanta, I look forward to reaching a territory that spans the entire southeast.”
Anderson will be responsible for supporting and expanding the Syngenta Digital Platforms presence throughout the southeastern United States, working closely with turf and ornamental managers to optimize their operations through data-driven solutions.
“Ben is an exciting addition to our team because he brings an exceptional combination of technical expertise and customer-focused energy,” Syngenta Digital Platforms head Steve Dorer said. “His background in both hands-on turf management and data analytics makes him uniquely qualified to help our customers leverage digital solutions.
“Ben’s passion for helping customers succeed and his deep understanding of the industry will be invaluable assets to our growing Digital Platforms team.”
Anderson earned his MBA with a specialization in project management from the University of South Carolina Aiken and a bachelor’s in agronomy and soils with an emphasis in turfgrass management from Auburn University.
