Syngenta commences new in-season product purchase program

New program aims to help superintendents save more money in this difficult economic climate.

To ease the budget pressures many golf courses are feeling in the current economic climate, Syngenta Professional Products offers a way for superintendents to earn bonuses for “in-season” purchases made from May 1 through August 31, 2009.

Whether or not a golf course participated in the 2009 GreenTrust early order program, the new in-season program provides a great additional opportunity to get the brands needed, while earning in-season bonuses. Detailed program information is available at www.syngentagreentrust.com.

According to Dave Ravel, Syngenta Professional Products market lead for turf, the 2009 Golf GreenTrust in-season program helps courses earn valuable bonuses from purchasing products like Daconil fungicide or Primo MAXX plant growth regulator.

Golf courses are eligible to earn bonuses on qualifying products purchased from May 1, 2009 through August 31, 2009, based on the GreenTrust level achieved with purchases from October 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.

Ravel added that the new program represents a significant advantage for superintendents who took part in the 2009 early order program, as the starting date for bonuses on in-season purchases was previously June 1, 2009.
