The following changes took place within pesticide supplier Syngenta's NAFTA region:
Rob Neill, currently general manager of professional products, NAFTA region, has been appointed global head of marketing for Syngenta Crop Protection based in Basel, Switzerland. For two years, Neill has played a significant role in the development of the Syngenta Professional Products business, which includes the company's lawn and garden, growing media and home care divisions.
He brings expertise to his new role from earlier assignments as Head of Marketing for the NAFTA region and the Latin American region. Neill also has marketing experience in several countries including Brazil, Canada, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. He holds a bachelor's degree in agriculture from the University of Guelph, Ontario, and a master’s degree in business administration from York University, Toronto.
David Stanley, currently global head, lawn and garden, will replace Rob Neill as general manager of professional products, NAFTA region. Stanley joined Syngenta in 2005 as global head, lawn and garden. Prior to joining Syngenta, he worked for The Nu-Gro Corporation, a Canadian manufacturer and seller of consumer lawn and garden, turf and slow-release fertilizer products, and held a number of positions including vice president and general manager of consumer and professional pest control products. Stanley holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture and soil science from the University of Guelph, Ontario, and an advanced graduate diploma in management from Athabasca University in Canada. He received his MBA in agriculture from the University of Guelph, Ontario.
