For the past three years, golf course superintendents from across the Island take a break from their greens to hit the ice for Multiple Sclerosis.
Vancouver Island Golf Superintendents Association (VIGSA) is hosting a charity hockey game, silent auction and a banquet in the hopes of raising $100,000.
“Last year, we raised $70,000 and this year we are going to try to take it up a notch,” said Greg Kowalski, superintendent of Royal Oak Golf Course.
