Standard Golf's new custom golf flagstick program gives golf courses new options for using flagsticks as a communication and marketing medium on the golf course.
Courses can add their own message, logo or advertisements to use during special events.
"Establishing a distinct, consistent brand and effectively communicating with customers are two important goals in today's competitive golf course market," said Pete Voorhees, president of Standard Golf. "Custom golf flagsticks give courses new opportunities to elegantly accomplish both tasks. They also represent a solid potential source of additional advertising revenue during special events like golf tournaments and corporate events."
Recognized by the United States Golf Association and the Royal & Ancient Golf Club, custom golf flagsticks adhere to golf rules and are available in a variety of colors and flag patterns. All custom golf flagsticks come with a choice of Standard Golf's patented Smart-Fit, slotted or traditional ferrule, and durable Royaline(TM) flagsticks.
Standard Golf's custom golf flagsticks are available in several different styles. The custom InfoStik(TM) is a full-size custom flagstick, while the PromoStik(TM) is a practice green flagstick. Both are available through the www.golfflagstick.com website, or by calling 1-888-FLAGSTICK. Standard Golf also offers a standard, non-custom version of the InfoStik, which carries the reminder to players to "Please Repair Your Ball Marks," and is available directly from the company.
All custom golf flagsticks feature easy-to-change message sleeves, giving courses the freedom to change messages as often as necessary. Designers in Scottsdale, Ariz., and London, England work directly with the course's marketing department to ensure consistent, quality branding. Typical turn-around time is two weeks.
