KemperSports has been selected to manage Spring Hollow Golf Club in Spring City, Pennsylvania, adding to its growing collection of courses spread across Pennsylvania and the Northeast. The company will focus on enhancing the overall experience for golfers and guests at Spring Hollow by delivering exceptional service, elevating course conditions and enhancing the food and beverage operations. KemperSports also plans to enhance the golf shop and bring new player development programming for players of all ages and skill levels.
“Spring Hollow is a fun test of golf and a great asset to the local community,” KemperSports CEO Steve Skinner said. “We are pleased to be adding to our growing KemperSports golf family in Pennsylvania, and we look forward to building on Spring Hollow’s legacy started by Owner Ernie Basile and his family.”
Spring Hollow Golf Club was designed by John Thompson and opened in 1994. The 18-hole, par-70 layout measures just over 6,000 yards from the tips and features dramatic elevation changes and several scenic holes that play over water. Located less than 35 miles from Philadelphia, Spring Hollow also includes two practice greens for chipping and putting, a pro shop, Spring Hollow Bar & Grille — which occupies a former dairy barn — an award-winning banquet venue and an outdoor event space.
“For nearly 30 years, Spring Hollow has been a labor of love that has earned us the reputation as one of the region’s top courses from golfers near and far,” club owner Ernie Basile said. “We are thrilled to be bringing in KemperSports and their proven experience in elevating facilities across the Northeast and nationwide to create a brighter future for Spring Hollow and our community.”
Spring Hollow becomes the third facility in Pennsylvania to come under KemperSports management in 2022, joining The Club at Twin Lakes in Allentown and Moselem Springs Golf Club in Fleetwood.
