Custom Nicklaus Design artificial turf putting greens are being installed by Southwest Greens. The two companies, licensing partners since 2004, announced a new three-year partnership to collaborate on the design and installation of putting greens ranging from backyard home sizes of 500 square feet to greens comparable to something found on a championship golf course and as large as 5,000 square feet. Several PGA Tour and LPGA players have had these greens of various sizes installed in the backyards of their homes.
The companies also unveiled a new Golden Bear artificial turf, exclusively available through Southwest Greens through Challenger Turf. This new turf was developed to provide a premium product, with minimal maintenance and maximum performance, to its customers. With the Golden Bear trademark on each green, the product offering is certain to meet the exacting standards of Nicklaus Design.
