Plowman, who is the superinten-dent at Willow Fork Country Club in Katy, is a 15-year member of the STGCSA and was first elected to the board of directors in 2003. He has spent the past two years as the chapter’s secretary/treasurer and vice-president.
“We have a great track record of continually improving our organization, and I certainly intend to continue that tradition,” Plowman said. “We’ve got some plans for 2010 and beyond that we believe will be beneficial to the association.”
Wade Warms, who is the superintendent at Cinco Ranch, was elected the chapter’s new vice president and Mark Haven was named the new secretary/treasurer. Haven is associate director of recreational sports for Texas A&M Golf Course.
