South Dakota's No. 1 public course upgrades facilities with ProLink GPS systems

The Golf Club at Red Rock boosts revenue with national advertising program.

(Chandler, Ariz.) - The Golf Club at Red Rock (Rapid City, S.D.) now features the ProStar GPS system and will use ProLink's exclusive national advertising program, according to ProLink Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ProLink Holdings.

Located in the rolling Black Hills of South Dakota, The Golf Club at Red Rock opened in the spring of 2003. Ranked the state's No. 1 public course the past four years by Golfweek, the course features lush fairways, surrounded by native grasses, ponderosa pines, dramatic elevation changes and links-style bunkers.
 
Designed by golf course architect Ron Farris, Red Rock provides an exceptional playing experience for both avid and casual golfers. In addition to an award-winning layout, the club features an outstanding practice facility, including driving range with target greens, a short-game practice area and a large undulating putting green.

With ProLink's patented, 10.4-inch high-resolution color screen, the cart-mounted units display dynamic, easy-to-read graphics including distances to the pin and hazards, pro tips, pace-of-play timer and radial arc for cart-path-only holes. Golfers will also be able to order food and beverage items with a touch of a button on the ProLink screen.
 
Servicing guiding golfers on many of the world's most famous courses, the GPS provider recently introduced its 'ProLink Touch', the industry's first cart-mounted "touch" screen. The most high-tech and user-friendly unit on the market, the innovative system features enhanced scoring functions which will automatically calculate "Nassau" and "Skins" results.
 
For courses' bottom lines, the new system's expansive memory stores up to 7,500 ads, generating incremental revenue through a larger sales inventory. Designed with a proprietary custom interface, ProLink Touch delivers lightning-fast cart-to-clubhouse communication for all purposes including two-way communications, golfer safety, food-and-beverage orders and pace-of-play alerts.
