SOLitude Lake Management expands presence in Georgia and Texas

Recent acquisitions include Integrated Lake Management’s Atlanta division and Aquatic Management Services.

SOLitude Lake Management has expanded its national presence with the recent acquisitions of Integrated Lake Management’s Atlanta division and Aquatic Management Services in Tyler, Texas.

ILM’s Atlanta division was founded seven years ago to deliver superior lake, pond, wetland and fisheries expertise. SOLitude’s acquisition of the division helps to strengthen SOLitude’s presence in the state of Georgia, and further enhances our ability to serve our clients across the market with a variety of premier aquatic services. Field manager Steven King and aquatic scientist Peyton Woods have joined SOLitude, bringing with them expanded knowledge of the local community, public waterways and sustainable aquatic management solutions that promote healthy, vibrant ecosystems.

“We are excited to be a part of SOLitude and carry on the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship,” King said. “SOLitude’s added knowledge, equipment and breadth of expertise will prove invaluable in helping us grow and exceed the expectations of our clients.”

Also joining SOLitude are three full-time team members from AMS in Texas, which was established in 1986 by fisheries biologist Stan Smith. Smith and his colleagues operations manager Cory Smith and aquatic specialist Jason Regester bring to SOLitude more than three decades of experiencing providing complete lake, pond and fisheries management strategies that enhance and revitalize waterbodies of all of sizes, from stormwater ponds to large lakes.

“Joining SOLitude has allowed us to grow and improve upon what we built over a 31-year career in the lake and fisheries management business,” Smith said. “I’m excited about the future of our industry and being a part of the SOLitude team. This is a win-win opportunity for all.”

This is SOLitude’s second acquisition from the state of Texas; SOLitude acquired Total Lake Management in Bryan, Texas, nearly a year ago, and now has two office locations in the state to service clients in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio and surrounding areas.

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome a second Texas office, and expand our national footprint with the opening of a new office in Atlanta,” said Kevin Tucker, CEO of SOLitude Lake Management. “Our new team members bring exceptional experience and knowledge to these regions, and we look forward to reaching and exceeding the lake, pond and fisheries management goals for all of our clients in these areas.”
