SipcamAdvan appoints new personnel

Adam Burnhams named vice president of marketing and George Stallings named Western field development manager.

SipcamAdvan named Adam F. Burnhams, vice president of marketing for Sipcam Agro USA and subsidiaries Advan LLC and Sostram Corp., and George Stallings Ph.D. Western field development manager for the research and development team.

“Burnhams brings an exceptional track record both in the United States and internationally, and will be an integral part of SipcamAdvan’s drive to become a $200 million company within five years,” said Andy Lee, president and CEO. “His extensive experience will make him a key driver for our strategy to provide a launch platform for new technology.”

Most recently, Burnhams managed marketing efforts for BASF's U.S. crop protection business. During his six years with BASF in the U.S., he was also manager strategic accounts and marketing manager corn belt. Before moving to North Carolina, he held positions with BASF in Germany, and in the U.K. with American Cyanamid’s subsidiary, Cyanamid Agriculture U.K., and with Shell Research Ltd.

Stallings will manage technical development activities for SipcamAdvan in the western United States. 

Stallings joins SipcamAdvan with more than 20 years experience in the technical, research and marketing areas of the ag industry.

Complementing Stallings’ experience in the areas of research, product development and technical service is his project management professional certification. His experience includes research plant pathologist, root disease and biocontrol for USDA, product development representative for Monsanto, technical services manager for Pace International and independent consultant/entrepreneur with his company Envision.
