Signature Control Systems entered into a strategic alliance with ESI – Environmental Sensors (ESI) of Canada to develop various proprietary sensor probe technologies for the global Golf, Sports Turf and Commercial Turf markets.
“The strategic alliance with ESI further enhances an important part of our global business strategy. Our technology platform was always compatible with 3rd Party sensors, but now with our own proprietary device, our presence in existing markets will be greatly enhanced, with more state-of-the art technology and provide the much needed product platform for new and emerging markets. Furthermore, these product families will also further our current business strategy with our own strategic alliance partners,” says Brian J. Smith, CEO of Signature Control Systems.
The strategic alliance with ESI creates solutions for a wider set of customer needs and provides Signature a significantly greater opportunity to grow into new markets, particularly in the golf, sports turf and commercial turf management segments.
"By combining our intelligent controllers, desktop and web-based software – with the our sensors for monitoring soil moisture, salinity, soil temperature and wetted front – Signature now has the opportunity to provide our customers with an industry-defining technology platform,” Smith says.
The combined technology of Signature with ESI is currently undergoing patent application and will be available to both domestic and international distributors and partners of Signature in the near future.
