Signature Control Systems strengthened its U.S. and Canadian presence by expanding its team to include industry veteran Dale W. Hansen as commercial sales director – North America.
Hansen, who started with the company in April, will concentrate on Signature’s Commercial Turf product range in North America by working with irrigation consultants and distributors, with the focus being to consolidate and maintain the rapid growth the company has been experiencing.
Hansen brings with him a strong technical and sales background in irrigation with more than 34 years of turf irrigation experience. He previously spent 15 years at Valmont Industries and 15 years at L.R. Nelson, where he held the positions of sales manager, vice president-product manager and vice president-sales. Most recently, Hansen was with Hydropoint Data Systems and Acclima.
“I joined Signature Control Systems because of the product - but more importantly – because of the technology behind the product,” Hansen said. “The eConstellation internet control system offers the irrigation industry a window to the future, and at Signature Control Systems the future is right now, and I’m excited to be part of the team.”
