Sierra Pacific Turf Supply announced that Dave Wilber will join its team as technical agronomist. Wilber will form and oversee Sierra Pacific Turf Services, a division of Sierra Pacific Turf Supply as director of agronomy.
Wilber has been the owner of Wilber Turf and Soil Services, an independent turfgrass agronomy consulting company for the last 15 years. Wilber Turf and Soil Services will now be part of Sierra Pacific Turf Supply as Sierra Pacific Turf Services.
In addition to technical agronomist for Sierra Pacific Turf Supply, Wilber will launch Sierra Pacific Turf Services. Sierra Pacific Turf Services will allow Wilber to offer consultation services in addition to launching new areas of opportunities such as new product evaluation and replicated field trials.
Wilber’s extensive work in construction and renovation project agronomy will be available for clients with those specific needs. Initially.
Wilber's area of focus will be development of services from Shasta to Fresno as well as the Reno/Lake Tahoe region. Sierra Pacific's clients will all benefit by having an experienced and dedicated agronomy consultant available for their needs.
Sierra Pacific Turf Supply is headquartered in Campbell, Calif., with locations in Fairfield, Rocklin and Reno and is the Rainbird Golf Irrigation Distributor for the San Francisco Bay Area.
