Michigan City, Ind. - Servi-Scape LLC, a golf course operations and maintenance management company, has announced that Clay B. Putnam, certified golf course superintendent, has joined the company as director of maintenance operations. Putnam returns to ServiScape after nearly five years with Valley Crest Golf Course Maintenance, Calabasas, Calif., where he served as operations and business development manager with responsibility for the maintenance of 13 golf courses throughout the Midwest, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Prior to joining Valley Crest, Putnam was a superintendent and general superintendent with ServiScape from 1994 through 2000.
Putnam is a graduate of the Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute with a degree in turf management and received his certified status from the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America in 2000.
