SePRO has announced multiple new hires to support its growing Turf & Ornamental business.
Todd Stassel has joined SePRO’s central region as an ornamental technical specialist. Stassel has spent more than 40 years in the ornamental business. With expertise in supporting professional growers, Stassel, a graduate of Dupage Horticulture School, is known for his ability to leverage proven strategies and best practices to enhance outcomes.
“Todd’s impressive tenure, coupled with his enthusiasm for our industry, makes him a welcomed addition to the SePRO family,” said Dennis Bunkley, national sales manager, ornamentals.
In addition to Stassel, SePRO is welcoming Jack Edwards as an ornamental technical specialist. Edwards is no stranger to SePRO, having successfully completed an internship with the company’s consumer sales division during the summer of 2020. Edwards graduated from Purdue University in December of 2020 with a degree in agribusiness and a minor in biochemistry.
“There’s enormous value in developing a team of professionals with passion and a common drive for success,” SePRO senior portfolio leader Mark Brotherton said. “Both Stassel and Edwards offer unique talent sets that will enhance SePRO’s ability to deliver solutions and services that our customers are seeking.”
“There is an incredible opportunity within the T&O segment, but it requires high-level talent combined with innovative solutions,” said John Wendorf, director of SePRO’s Turf & Ornamental division. “As a result, SePRO will continue to intentionally recruit the industry’s best-in-class professionals. It’s an exciting time to be part of the SePRO T&O team.”
