The Senior PGA Championship annually brings together some of the world's best and most experienced golfers, competing for a title they will long treasure. Once again this year, for the seventh time, another group known as 'the best and most experienced' -- Signature Special Event Services (www.EventServices.com), North America's leading full-service event rental company serving corporate, social and sports events -- took part in the event.
Tom Brown, president of Signature Special Event Services says the company "built more than 100,000 square feet of structures and canopies for the event at the Oak Tree Golf Club in Edmond, Okla., over Memorial Day weekend, as well as putting down more than 200,000-square feet of flooring."
In continuing its service to the Senior PGA Championship, Brown says that Signature Special Event Services "sees and accepts each annual event as a new challenge."
"The defending champion at the Championship has to map out a new plan for a new course, and then execute that plan to perfection," he says. "That's very much the way it is for Signature Special Event Services as well, as each year we have to meet the challenge of a different course, different logistics, and different and increasingly complex needs."
"We love doing the Senior PGA event," he says, "because it brings us into contact with some of the world's greatest golfers -- players we grew up watching -- and some terrific corporate customers as well. Signature continues to be honored by being chosen to provide hospitality surroundings and facilities, and did our best to come in 'way over par' again this year."
